In order to present her work and creations, fashion designer Christina Ledang entrusted us with the creation of her website.
Christina, who is a Norwegian artist and designer, mainly works in Europe, but is increasingly working in the U.S. and Canada. She therefore needed to establish her presence on the Web in order to make her portfolio accessible and to facilitate communications with potential clients.
This client naturally opted for a sober and purified design that brings her creations to the forefront. Each section of the site presents a different aspect of her work, and the designer can use a blog to maintain contact with her readers and to show sketches, inspirations and behind-the-scenes images of photo shoots that she attends. From providing advice to putting the site online, through to web design and programming, Marengère Design was in charge of the entire project.
To enable the designer to update her portfolio and blog posts by herself, we created for her a password-protected administration console. This console allows her to organize the portfolio section as she sees fit, whenever she wants, without having to go through a webmaster. The site’s blog section is user-friendly, intuitive and ergonomic and is also managed through this console.
